PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol celebrates Jakarta's 491st Anniversary by performing  Explore Ondel-Ondel.

There is a parade in Explore Ondel-Ondel event that will be participated by more than 100 people and 50 Ondel-Ondel

This event will be held on June 23, 2018 from 2 PM to 6 PM. It is not only displaying Betawi Ondel-Ondel, but also performing Ondel-Ondel that plays soccer.

"There is a parade in Explore Ondel-Ondel event that will be participated by more than 100 people and 50 Ondel-Ondel," mentioned C. Paul Tehusijarana, PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol's Director, Friday (6/22).

He explained, there are also tanjidor music, parade of decorated delman that are carrying Jakarta Abang None finalists, Betawi's Palang Pintu, Betawi dancers, martial arts, and Betawi Lenong.

In the end of parade, Ondel-Ondel will compete with each others to play soccer, move the ball, and Betawi dance flash mob.

"We also wants Jakartans to get to know more about their original culture thus they become knowledgeable and their love to their own culture will grow," he affirmed.
